Drop the kids off at the church for childcare. We will leave at 10:15 am for T. Anthony’s Deli on the river.
We will also be assembling gift bags for local single moms. If you have any goodies to donate or names of single moms, bring them!

Yard Sale Guidelines
1. You are responsible for setting up & taking down your goods.
2. BE THERE AT 9:00 am sharp. We cannot get into the room until the library opens at 9. People will be waiting at 9:30 am to come in & shop. It will be very difficult & chaotic for you to set up your goods once the doors open.
3. You are responsible for your own pricing & change. Shoppers will pay you individually for their goods.
4. Please plan on helping put up the tables & vacuuming post-sale. The library requires that we do this before we leave.
5. Please turn in your $5 fee for EACH table you want to rent to Dawn by Sat., APRIL 11TH. Any tables not paid for at that point will be open for others to rent.
6. You will get either one 2’ X 6 ’ or two 1’ X 6’ tables (you can spread out or shove together). It will be first come, first serve that morning.
7. The $5 fee will go to benefit Precious Poseys. The money you make at your table goes to you!
8. Please make sure your goods are clean.
9. ONLY baby or kids’ stuff (or maternity): clothing, toys, books are acceptable.

Activity: Preparation for MOPS Yard Sale, April 18th

Sarah McQuay from “Cool Smiles” will lead a fun presentation using puppets for young children on why we need our teeth and how to take care of them. There will be “Cool Smiles” Goody bags for the children.

What: A field trip (meet there) where the tots can run around all they want! There are slides, foam pits, giant balls, small balance beams, & lots of fun!

What: Craft & Playtime!
No childcare for this meeting. We will meet in the church basement to play & make crafts with the kids. Come ready to make a pinecone bird feeder, bead necklace, and/or a sparkly fish. We will also plan the meetings for the spring semester, so come with ideas!
Christmas Exchange
This event is sure to be a highlight of your holiday season!
You are asked to bring six unwrapped gifts. These items need to be the same type of item, though not necessarily the same color, etc. You can make, bake or purchase these items. They can be from the dollar store! Some ideas are Christmas dishtowels, homemade muffins on a pretty plate, Christmas stationary, ornaments, and homemade jewelry. Please bring something (e.g. a basket) to take home the six “new” items you have acquired during the exchange.
We will celebrate the gift of Christ, given for nothing in exchange!

Come join us as we talk about simplifying our lives, especially as the holidays approach. How can you make holiday entertaining & decorating simpler? We will share some examples and of course, food!
